     Some sites are devoted to Stay At Home Moms - SAHMs - moms trying to build a business out of their homes in their spare time.  Right now this site is still under construction and new things will be added to it as quickly as possible. I hope you can be patient with me.

     I have been wanting to start a business out of my home for quite a long time and decided that now that I have turned 60, this is exactly the time to do it.  My first venture is to be making scented wax and soy tarts.  I have been working the past few weeks in finding suppliers and starting to get the tarts made.  I didn't quite realize all of the time it was going to take finding all of the materials I would need.  In the near future I hope to be adding votives, scented sachets, and maybe even reed diffuser bottles.  It is my mission to make these with the highest quality scents and sell them for the most reasonable prices.  As far as S & H, I know what a drag that is for most of us!  What I plan on doing depends on the Postal Service rates.  I will use the Flat Rate envelopes/boxes as often as possible depending on the size of your order.  I LOVE it when I purchase from Sellers that do that.  I will also use only biodegradable paper as filler.  The second page of this site will list all of the scents that I have on stock in one color.  I will list those that I can order in another color.  If I don't have the scent that you want on hand,  please let me know what it is and I will special order it for you.  Please allow 7-14 days for your order to arrive. I will be hand-pouring your tarts the day after the scent arrives (my mail does not come until around 5:00 pm).

     The Following is For All Of My Bewitched Friends, My Friends who Spend So Much Time In Their Kitchen Adding Spices & Herbs to Their Meals To Make Them “just so” for Their Family, the Ones they Love.  For These Women, Cooking is not just a Chore, it is an Art, It is a Work of Love, It is a Masterpiece of Honor.

     The Term “Kitchen Witch” may startle some; but it is not meant to.  If you remember the 50s and 60s, perhaps you may remember kitchen witches as collectibles.  I remember the first one that my mother gave me to hang in my kitchen.  They usually came with a very sweet poem that I will post at a later time.  

     Please do not let the terminology here frighten you from entering.  This is a site dedicated to the safety, love, and sharing among women (and the occasional man if he chooses to enter and be kind, gentle, and supportive).  We are going to share recipes, hopefully some folk lore and healing recipes from the past (my grandmother made many that I wish I could remember), and also we will be Shopping - who doesn’t love that!
